A fun Class for youths aged 6-9 yrs Introducing a fun strength and conditioning class for children - ideally for sport development and injury prevention but also to become fitter stronger and faster. We start with basic bodyweight movements, jumps and use of bands and lightweights for all round strength and flexibility and develop towards learning the Olympic weightlifting skills using lightweight bars and eventually with weight. The main focus is on developing fantastic movement skills whilst having fun with games, challenges and exploration.The Class is 45 mins and at 8/9 years old and over they can progress into our older children's class.

Week 1 - Super Cool Sneaker Art: Design your own sneakers using various media, colour and pattern Week 2 - Pop Up Explosion Cards - use bright oil pastels, felt tips, tempura sticks to create vibrant pictures and patterns to make a 3D pop up card. Week 3 - Jaguar Portraits - use oil pastel and water colour to create a portrait of a jaguar in the jungle. Week 4 - Pop Art Name Art: create your own colour name art in the style of pop art. Choose colours and pattern to build your name. Week 5 - Sloth paintings - create an adorable painting with a 'mummy and baby sloth' hanging from a tree in the rainforest. Week 6 - Dinosaur Silhouettes - create a neon night background and cut out dinosaur silhouettes on black paper. Add details such as the moon and plants. Week 7 - Halloween Haunted Houses: create a collage picture of your own Halloween house - adding spooky touches such as pumpkins and bats.
