Learn the exciting art of throwing on the potter's wheel. This course is perfect for beginners and intermediates, where you will learn in a small intimate group to ensure you get the proper guidance and tuition needed. You will develop the skills to throw your own pots in just a few weeks; learning how to centre the clay, open out the shape, pull up the walls and control the form. Your tutor will show you how to shape your piece, trim and neaten, then decorate with glazes before your creations are fired in the kiln.

In our weekly Drawing and Painting day class you will develop a range of drawing and painting skills, with plenty of opportunity to explore new techniques and processes. This popular day class is welcoming and relaxed and best suited for anyone wishing to build on existing skills, or for those who are more experienced to progress.
