Henbury Intermediate/Advanced Badminton Wednesday Group

Weekly Badminton from 7.30-9.30pm at the Henbury Leisure Centre. Mostly Doubles. We play over courts 2 & 3. The pay-as-you-go cost is £7.50 for the 2-hours. In order to play at this session, you should understand the rules, and be keen to improve your game. Although you may need to improve consistency, you should be able to serve, and hit the shuttle cleanly. Your timely payments greatly contribute to the success of our gatherings and help maintain the integrity of our community. Payment Deadline: Please ensure payment is made 24 hours before the scheduled event. Members who have not paid by this deadline will be automatically removed from the attendee list. Cancellation More Than 24 Hours Before the Event: If you decide not to attend despite having already paid, and you notify us more than 24 hours in advance, no refund will be issued. However, you will receive a "credit" that can be used for a future event without additional payment. Cancellation Less Than 24 Hours Before the Event: If you decide not to attend despite having already paid, and notify us less than 24 hours before the event, neither a refund nor a "credit" will be provided.

Bristol Badminton

Join us for a session of doubles badminton from 6-7pm at Kingsdown Sports Centre. We'll be on courts 1 & 2, booked under the name 'brisminton'. Please check the "How do I pay?" section below for payment details, before you join. I'm a beginner, can I join? Of course, you can. We were all beginners once. We're a group of mixed levels, from beginners to more advanced. What do I need to bring? Feather shuttles are provided, however you must bring a badminton racquet. Changing rooms are also available at the centre, if you need to change into gym/sports gear. Is parking available? Limited parking is available on site. Please don't forget to register your car at the reception. How do I pay? Please pay £4.25, using PayPal, once your RSVP status is "going". Please ensure you select the option "friends and family" as we are not a business! If you are on the waitlist, please do not pay until your RSVP status changes. Important: Please add your Meetup name as reference for the payment. I have paid, but it says 'Unpaid' against my name. The status is not updated automatically - please allow us time to respond. Welcome to Bristol Badminton Group's Friday session for all intermediate players. We have five courts available at Kingsdown Sports Centre for a maximum of 28 players. Games are organised by hosts. For those that would like, I am hoping we will go to the pub afterwards. In order to play at this session, you should understand the rules, and be keen to improve your game. Although you may need to improve consistency, you will be able to serve, have a variety of shots, be able to move around court and hit the shuttle cleanly.
