PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW FOR DETAILS ABOUT THE GROUP.... LONDON MOUNTAIN BIKING CLUB (LMBC) \- We are a friendly bunch of keen Mountain Bike Enthusiasts \- We are dedicated to organising off\-road rides mainly around the South of England but also further afield for weekend trips\. \- We will mainly be doing rides that are easily accessible from London either by train or by car\. \- So\, If you like bounding through muddy tracks and riding in amongst trees and woodlands\, rather than dodging traffic then come and join us on one of our rides\. Some of the rides will be graded easy\, moderate or difficult depending on the distances and technicality of the riding involved\. You will need to be reasonably confident riding your bike and riding within a group\, and have a reasonable level of fitness\. However\, when you attend a ride you will be made welcome and included and we try to stay together as a group\. \- You will need to have a maintained Mountain Bike with Off\-road tyres and please read the description of the ride for details and ask the ride organiser if you have any questions\. \- Our rides are normally open initially to a limited number\, after which there will be a waitlist\. However\, the waitlist will often change quickly nearer the day of the ride as people update their RSVP\, if you are on the waitlist and a spot becomes available you will be notified by email and automatically included as attending\. Wild Cycling – Off-Road Cycling At Its Best!

Sat
📅 20 Jun 2026
📍 TW2 5EW

Wild Cycling is a Cycling Club based in Richmond and unlike other clubs we welcome e-bikes too. Our kind of cycling focuses on off-road trails on varied terrains like dirt paths and bridleways, using bikes with off-road capability emphasising fun over pure speed. We offer access to scenic routes away from cars, making it much safer than road cycling and with the benefit of exploring the beauty of our countryside. Key Aspects Terrain: From loose gravel and forest trails to grassy fields and even some beach sections, it's about exploring varied, unpaved paths. Bikes: Gravel bikes are a hybrid, featuring drop handlebars like road bikes but with sturdier frames, wider tires, and easier gearing for rough conditions, You can also join us if you own a Mountain Bike or e-MTB, indeed e-Bikes are welcome on our rides. Experience: It prioritises adventure, exploring nature, and physical/mental well-being with a focus on fun, community and self-sufficiency. You should ensure that your bike is well maintained and that you can fix small issues such as punctures on the move. Accessibility: It's less technical than mountain biking but offers more freedom than road cycling, making it accessible for beginners and experienced riders alike. Why Try It? Escape traffic and discover beautiful, quiet landscapes. A great way to build fitness and explore new areas. * Enjoy epic scenery and a sense of accomplishment.
