A fun, energetic Bollywood choreography class where we learn routines to some of your favourite Bollywood tracks while developing technique, musicality, expressions and performance. Each choreography is built progressively across the sessions, giving you time to learn the steps, refine the movement and enjoy performing the complete routine. Sessions are suitable for different dance abilities – you don't need to be an experienced dancer to join. Dance & Moving Meditation in Guildford — for ANY BODY Come and dance 5Rhythms® — a moving meditation with no steps to learn and no experience needed. Simply come as you are and dance your dance alongside whatever is moving within you. Bring a water bottle, wear loose comfortable clothing, and prepare to move freely in a supportive, welcoming space. What to Expect in a 2-Hours Class We usually begin with a gentle warm-up: breathing, stretching, dancing and moving in whatever way feels good for you in the moment. You’ll then be guided through a Wave, dancing each of the 5Rhythms: Flowing • Staccato • Chaos • Lyrical • Stillness At times you’ll dance alone, and occasionally you may be invited to connect — at a comfortable distance — with a partner or small group. There are no steps to learn and no way to get it wrong. This is an invitation to explore movement, presence, and self-expression through your own body, in your own way. No dance experience is needed — only a willingness to move and explore. This is an established class with a warm community and typically more than 20 dancers at each session.
