We recognised that no individual is the same, with each individual being different as a person and as a player, and therefore we feel the importance to deliver in accordance to that. To ensure this, we offer 1-1 coaching sessions in order to provide specific training to the individual and tailor personalised development plans. These types of sessions are more suited to all players that need extra time and support to develop at their own rate or excelling players that require more attention to detail and focused training. We can provide individuals that need to improve a key area of their game or a gap in their knowledge by working closely with one of our coaches to close that gap and improve through 1-2-1 contact time on their game. However, 1-2-1 sessions are open to all as they can have obvious benefits and impact massively on player's game. You can book this sessions weekly on a adhoc basis or you can book as a block in a term.

2-Day Goalkeeping Camp

This Summer we deliver our 2-day Goalkeeping Camp across different venues providing a combination of focus and fun; focused training with a fun factor that allows goalkeepers to work hard, train hard and enjoy their training at the same time. Spread over the course of two days, delivering a number of different aspects including social & cognitive workshops and games each day finishing with awards and celebrations. Day 1 will include Developing Footwork, Shot stopping and Distribution by feet. Day 2 will include Dealing with Crosses, Facing 1v1 and Distribution by hand Each day will be split by lunch and mini breaks between sessions and finish work awards at the end of the days.

For girls from 5 to 11 years old, our sessions are run by FA qualified, male and female football coaches every Sunday morning at Botley Recreation Ground.

Football Distribution Workshop: OUTFIELDERS ONLY at Coach4u

It is recognised kicking is one of the most common development areas for players. The aim? To provide young developing players with the opportunity to correctly learn the technique behind kicking, have the chance to practice their kicking and enhance their current kicking ability. The workshop is suitable to all from new learners to advanced players. For new learners they will gain the understanding of the ways to strike, for intermediate players it will give practice and advanced players it will provide an opportunity to have advanced coaching on distribution. The workshop will cover distribution from punch passes, low driven, clipped/lofted passes and shooting techniques. For those more advanced, tactical underpinning will also be included in the workshop. During the workshop players will be split by age and specifically formats to ensure the delivery is suitable and specific to them to maximum development.

To provide young developing players with the opportunity to correctly learn the technique behind kicking, have the chance to practice their kicking and enhance their current kicking ability. The workshop is suitable to all from new learners to advanced players. For new learners they will gain the understanding of the ways to strike, for intermediate players it will give practice and advanced players it will provide an opportunity to have advanced coaching on distribution. For those more advanced, tactical underpinning will also be included in the workshop. Great-Save Summer Goalie Wars (U10-U11 & U14)

This year we are hosting our 4th annual summer Goalie Wars tournament. The ultimate game for any goalkeeper; utilising their shot stopping and distribution. A chance to showcase themselves and compete to be crowned Goalie Wars Champion. We have improved the structured of the day and an improved format for the tournament, developing on from last's feedback from attendees. Age groups are based on the age group for the upcoming 2026-27 season. The competition is open to boys and girls. Players do not have to play for a club or be signed for a club to enter, although goalkeeping experience is key to competing and the competition is open to both grassroots and academy players. Ability levels will be considered when grouping goalkeepers for the tournament. All goalkeepers will play a minimum of 4 games, with those progressing further into the knock-out stages achieving additional playing time with successful progression. Players will be grouped in a league competing on a points system before the knock-out stages of Quarter final, Semi final and then the Final. All games will be refereed, all goalkeepers will receive a free warm-up delivered by our qualified and experienced goalkeeping coaches before the start of the games. There will be the following stalls and activities on the day for both players, parents and siblings; Refreshments Goalkeeping Glove stall Free-Kick Competition Crossbar Challenge Speed Gun challenge The Winner of the competition will receive their Champions Trophy, a pair of Goalkeeping Gloves and a FREE session in any of our programmes. The runner up will receive a runners-up trophy and 25% off a pair of gloves and any single session in our any of our programmes. All players that enter will receive a participation medal. Let the Games Begin.

Pre-Season U15-U18 Keeper Camp

The camps are our way of allocating more time for goalkeepers and spending more direct contact time on coaching the game by delivering this in a professional focused environment. This camp is specifically aimed at and focused on older goalkeepers to provide a valuable experience to attend, learn and develop further from. All our goalkeeping camps operate under the following structure: ● in the academic holidays during half-terms, end of terms and summer breaks. ● 1:00pm - 3:30pm ● available for all abilities and ages from 15 - 18 years old. ● the content of the curriculum is based on the respective ability levels/age groups attending. ● keepers are split into appropriate age groups and ability levels for maximum development. Each camp has different focuses, with each camp consisting of Pre-Activation, 2 x 45 minutes sub-topics and finishing with goalie wars conditioned games, based on the topics of that camp.

Each camp has different focuses, with each camp consisting of Pre-Activation, 2 x 45 minutes sub-topics and finishing with goalie wars conditioned games, based on the topics of that camp.

This summer we are offering FREE summer holiday activities for all 3-7 year olds in a friendly, fun engaging environment where children can attend to explore, learn and experience with various sports, equipment and activities with our qualified staff. The Play Team has over 20 years industry experience with highly qualified staff coming from Primary, Secondary, College and University teaching backgrounds. Childhood Obesity is a serious and very much publicised problem. Current statistics indicate 1/3 of children (aged 2 to 15 years) are overweight/obese, with clear links between this and mental health issues. We are committed to tackling this problem, using our passion and experience to inspire those we engage with.
