Skateboarding

All Day Skatepark & Pump Track Booking Slot

This ticket will give you access to the indoor skatepark and outdoor pump-track for the day. The minimum age for this session is 5 years old. If you are looking to bring a child under the age of five to the skatepark and pump-track, we have dedicated beginners sessions on Saturdays and Sundays between the hours of 9am-12pm. Equipment hire will be available on the day from reception, availability permitting. The prices for hire equipment is as follows: BMX: £10 (includes BMX bike, helmet and pads) Skateboard: £7 (includes skateboard, helmet and pads) Inline Skates; £7 (includes inline skates, helmet and pads) Jump Bike: £25 (includes jump bike, helmet and pads) Helmet/Pads: £5 This is a non instructed session. Beginners Skatepark & Pump Track Booking Slot

Beginners only access to the Skatepark and Pump Track from 9am-12pm You are welcome to continue using the skatepark and pump track after 12pm, please note that all levels of ability are welcome in those areas from 12pm. Any children under the age of five must be supervised in the park or out on the pump-track at all times. A supervising adult must sign a participation statement on arrival to the centre. Equipment hire for under 5's will be available on the day from reception, availability permitting. If you have your own equipment we urge you to bring it, as we may not have the sizing to suit your child. Skateboard: £7 (includes skateboard, helmet and pads) Helmet/Pads: £5 This is a non instructed session. Scooters are not permitted and cannot be used in the indoor skatepark or outdoor pump-track. Girls Night Skatepark Session

Join us for our Girls Night Session and enjoy full access to both the indoor skatepark and outdoor pump track in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. This session is open to all girls and women aged five and above, and welcomes riders from every discipline, BMX, skateboarding, and inline skating. If you’re planning to bring a child under five, it is to the skatepark staff's discretioin whether you will be granted entry. We aim to keep everyone safe at TX, and sometimes this means that the Beginners Sessions every Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 12pm, may be a bettr option. They are designed especially for younger riders to build confidence and have fun in a safe environment. Equipment hire can be arranged at reception on the day, subject to availability. Prices are £10 for a BMX (including bike, helmet and pads), £7 for a skateboard (including board, helmet and pads), £7 for inline skates (including skates, helmet and pads), £25 for a jump bike (including bike, helmet and pads), and £5 for helmet and pads hire only. This is a non-instructed session, but there will be instructors available support, perfect for riders who want to practice, socialise, and enjoy the park at their own pace. Please note that this session is for girls and women only. Anyone outside of this group will not be able to access the park during this time. Scooters are not permitted in the indoor skatepark or on the outdoor pump track. For everyone’s safety, helmets are required for riders under 16.

Bouldering – 1 Hour Session

Bouldering entry for minimum 1 Hour Session (does not include access to Rope Climbing Walls). Please note: under 14's must be booked in with a parent/guardian to supervise them. One adult can legally supervise two Under 14 boulderers at one time. Supervising adults are welcome to book in for Bouldering also. If not, they must book in for a free 'Supervising Under 14's' ticket. Supervisors must be prepared to sign a Bouldering Novice Entry form on arrival stating that they are happy to take the responsibility of the young people they take in to the Climbing Wall. Climbing shoes must be worn on the climbing wall and bouldering areas. Equipment hire will be available on the day from reception, at a cost of £6 per hire (includes all required items). This is availability dependant. If capacity allows, climbers may be able to continue to boulder past their slot end time.

Roped Climbing Wall for Experienced Climbers

Entry to the Climbing Wall for Roped Climbing. Competent Belayers with ropework and belay knowledge can accompany a maxiumum of two novice climbers per visit. Competent Belayers that arrive with Novice Climbers must be prepared to fill out a Novice Entry form stating that they are happy to take responsibility for the participants they take into the wall. Novice Climbers must be accompanied by a Competent Belayer. Competency will be evaluated by TX Climbing Instructors. Competent Belayers aged 14-17 are able to climb without adult supervision provided they have been evaluated by TX Climbing Staff, parental consent obtained and they have been issued with a 14-17 Climber card. 14-17 Climbers cannot be responsible for novice climbers. Each 14-17 climber must carry their card on them at all times and have it ready to show receptio staff on arrival and at anytime during their session. Children can climb with a parent belaying provided the parent is a competent belayer. Adults attending intending only to belay will gain free entry, but still have to complete an online booking with the 'Competent Adult Belayer accompanying Novice Climbers' ticket. Please note this information within your booking or at reception on arrival. Climbing Sessions are for a minimum of 2 hours. Climbers are welcome to stay beyond this time depending on the number of climbers within the centre.
