Rhythm Dance Nation

Our Afro‑Fusion Dance and Ndombolo classes are high‑energy feel‑good sessions that blend the energy and musicality of Afrobeats, the expressive rhythms of Congolese Ndombolo and dynamic elements of hip‑hop. Each session begins with a 15 minute dance fitness warm-up that focuses on continuous movement to build cardiovascular fitness, strength, coordination and stamina, while celebrating the expressive and powerful nature of Afro‑inspired dance. You’ll move through a series of easy‑to‑follow routines that emphasise rhythm and full‑body engagement, especially core and waist movement. The second part of the session will focus on structured choreography while developing musicality, coordination, confidence, and performance quality. Dancers are guided through themed routines that celebrate African and urban dance influences, encouraging both technical growth and self‑expression. Movements are layered progressively, allowing participants to fully engage with the choreography while developing strength, stamina, and style. The classes are open to all abilities, whether you’re new to dance or returning with experience. Modifications and guidance are provided, creating an inclusive and supportive space where everyone can move at their own pace while still being challenged. Expect an uplifting atmosphere where fitness meets fun, culture and community. Come ready to move, sweat and express yourself and in true Ndombolo fashion, don’t forget to bring your waist.
