Curious Kat’s Adventure Club: hiking, travelling, day trips

📍 KT18 5LE · Kingston upon Thames postcode area

![]( Curious Kat’s Adventure Club is a community of interesting and curious people who would like to explore London, England, and well, let’s think big - the world in general. :) If you would like to live your life to the fullest, have fun, make new friends and meet like-minded people this is the place for you. I would love to build up a community through which we can not only share our ideas and put them in practice but through which we can also develop our full potential, network and achieve our goals and dreams. :) How will we do it? Step by step. We will get to know each other on various adventures. Whether it's the great outdoors (hiking, walking, cycling, sightseeing, visiting places, camping, day trips, trips abroad, holidays) or unusual indoors where we can do a bit of social networking (ice bar, jazz venues, hidden gems that only few know about), dining (whether it’s fine dining or just off beaten track restaurant adventure) or something from the cultural menu which is so rich in London (theatres, galleries, cinemas) - all the ideas are welcome. I’m up for adventure and will try everything once. And I would most welcome your suggestions – if you come across something in line with the spirit of this group, please email me! The best thing about the community is that there is space for everyone as each one of you has unique ideas and all the ideas are welcome. I truly believe that everyone has something valuable they can bring to the table and everyone has some hidden talents that might need to be unlocked. What sort of events can you expect to find here? We have some hiking trips coming up – we love travelling, hiking and exploring countryside, whether it is around London or further afield. There are some weekend breaks on the horizon, travel UK and abroad, once again they will be filled with adventure – hiking, walking, kayaking… I will look into organizing some city breaks as well –

KoZa Trails-Hiking & Adventure Travel

Sat

Welcome to KoZa Trails, your passport to hiking adventures! From local hikes to international trips, I'll handle the planning so you can just enjoy the adventure. About me I'm an experienced hike leader with 10 years of organising and guiding adventures across the UK and abroad. As a qualified outdoor first aider, safety is always my top priority, ensuring everyone has an unforgettable experience. My love for nature was born in a small village in the Bulgarian mountains, where I spent my childhood exploring goat paths and falling in love with the outdoors. This is where the name KoZa comes from—Bulgarian for "goat." Moving to England allowed me to explore the world differently. I discovered hiking, which transformed my life. Through hiking, I met amazing people and experienced the world in a new way. Now, I'm passionate about sharing this with others—whether it's travelling, meeting new people, or uncovering hidden gems in the great outdoors. I find joy in helping others conquer challenges and in taking the stress out of planning, so everyone can enjoy the journey. Why I started this group I created this group because I know how hard it can be to plan a hiking holiday on your own. Many people miss out on amazing experiences because they're not confident hiking alone, don't have the time to organise everything, or just don't know where to start. That's where I come in! I love planning trips and taking care of all the logistics, so you can just show up and have a great time. What to expect on my trips Expertly Planned Trips: Carefully researched itineraries that blend popular spots and hidden gems. Small-Group Adventures: I aim to create trips that feel like exploring with friends. We focus on relaxing days out—hiking, enjoying nature, and visiting interesting places without feeling rushed. Supportive Atmosphere: A friendly environment for hikers of all levels, where you can make new friends and create lasting memories. Personal Challenges: Opportunities to push your limits and achieve personal goals. * Safety First: Safety-first approach with a qualified first aider (me!) always on hand Whether you're a seasoned hiker or new to the trails, KoZa Trails offers something for everyone. I'm also happy to create customised trips for groups of friends or colleagues—let's make your dream hiking holiday a reality! Join me, and let the trails lead you to unforgettable adventures. Together, we'll explore breathtaking landscapes, push our limits, and create stories to last a lifetime. Welcome to the KoZa Trails family! Milena, the Mountain Goat :)

🥾 Late Risers Hiking Club Love hiking, but not the early starts? Welcome to the Late Risers Hiking Club—a London-based, friendly community for people who enjoy exploring the outdoors without the sunrise meetups. We’re here to help people discover new trails, enjoy the fresh air, meet like-minded hikers, and build friendships along the way. Whether you’re looking for weekend adventures, new hiking buddies, or simply an excuse to spend more time outdoors, you’re welcome to join us. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- What to expect Our hikes are planned around enjoying the journey, not just reaching the destination. We aim for an average walking pace of approximately 4–5 km per hour, with regular breaks for lunch, rest stops, photos, and sightseeing. Each hike will have a volunteer coordinator who will share the route details, meeting point, and any important information beforehand. The coordinator will help with navigation on the day, but please note that our hikes are not professionally guided. Every participant is responsible for their own safety, preparation, and decisions throughout the hike. Free meetups and RSVPs All Late Risers Hiking Club meetups are free to attend. As places on hikes may be limited and organisers spend time planning routes and logistics, we kindly ask that you only RSVP if you intend to attend. If your plans change, please cancel your RSVP at least 24 hours before the hike whenever possible so that others have the opportunity to join. Who can join? The Late Risers Hiking Club is open to adults aged 21 and above only. We welcome beginners on suitable hikes, but please read each event description carefully before signing up. Some routes may involve steep sections, uneven terrain, longer distances, or challenging conditions and may not be suitable for brand-new hikers. Your responsibilities By joining a hike, you agree that you are responsible for: Choosing hikes that match your fitness level and experience. Wear suitable clothing and footwear for the conditions. Bring enough water, food, and any personal medication you may need. Carrying emergency contact information and informing the organisers of any relevant medical conditions or concerns that may affect your participation. Arranging your own transport to and from the meeting point. Any car sharing or transport arrangements are private agreements between participants and are not organised or managed by the club. Look after your own safety, belongings, and well-being throughout the hike. Dogs Dogs are welcome on selected hikes where the trail and conditions are suitable. If dogs are permitted: They must remain on a leash at all times. Owners are responsible for their dog’s behaviour, safety, and well-being. Owners must clean up after their dogs and dispose of waste responsibly. Please check the hike details before bringing your dog. Weather and changes to hikes Outdoor activities are affected by weather conditions. Hikes may be modified, postponed, relocated, or cancelled if conditions are considered unsafe or unsuitable, including extreme weather, heavy rain, storms, heat, flooding, or poor trail conditions. The organisers will make decisions with participant safety as the priority. Please check event updates before travelling and come prepared for changing weather conditions. Respect for others and the outdoors We want the Late Risers Hiking Club to be a friendly and welcoming space for everyone. We ask all members to: Be respectful, inclusive, and considerate towards fellow hikers, organisers, local communities, and other trail users. Follow reasonable instructions from the hike coordinators. Leave no trace—take all rubbish home and dispose of waste responsibly. Respect nature, wildlife, and the places we visit. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. The organisers reserve the right to refuse participation or remove individuals from the group or a hike if their behaviour negatively affects the group. Photos and social media Photos may be taken during hikes and shared within the group or on social media to celebrate our adventures. Participation in photos is completely optional—please let the organisers know if you do not wish to be included. Important safety disclaimer Hiking involves inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven terrain, slips and falls, changing weather, physical exertion, and unexpected outdoor conditions. By participating in any Late Risers Hiking Club activity, you acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for your own safety. The Late Risers Hiking Club and its volunteer organisers are not professional guides and cannot accept responsibility for personal injury, loss, damage, or incidents that occur during or in connection with club activities. Participants should make their own informed decisions about whether a hike is suitable for them. Our simple goal Meet great people. Explore beautiful places. Enjoy the outdoors. Make mem

The London 1000ft Hiking Club 👣👣

Sat
📅 15 Aug 2026
📍 SW5 0AG

We, a non service providing group of thrill seeking hiking 'buddies', are dedicated to ascending peaks and enjoying panoramic views. We organise hikes in the hills around the country and abroad - occasionally going away on several days hiking trips. For each day's hike we generally aim to achieve at least 1000ft in total ascent and at least 15 miles distance, often this exceeds 2000ft. In the modest peaks in the south east this will mean linking several hills together which will sometimes lead to lengthier walks. On trips to the national parks we will endeavour to choose challenging walks taking in the major peaks (therefore bagging that magical 1000ft easily). If you are interested in some serious, decent paced hill and fell walking – and can sign up to our terms and conditions, sign up to our group. By joining this group you are signing up to the following disclaimers, both of which are valid: Hike Grading New disclaimer: Voluntary Participation: Participation in our hiking group activities is completely based on your own choice. Indicative train times below – subject to any rail timetable changes.   Kit Please note that I am not a qualified walk leader (yet), although I do have a lot of experience and will carry a first aid kit for the basics.   I would recommend decent hiking shoes and lots of layers. You will be responsible for bringing your own kit, any personal medications, and food/ snacks/ drinks.   A basic kit list: ·       Hiking shoes/ boots ·       Hiking socks (and spares in case of rain) ·       Waterproof Jacket ·       Fleece ·       Base layer ·       Hiking trousers – no jeans! ·       Rucksack ·       Hat & Gloves ·       Water bottle – at least 2 litres or water bladder ·       Head Torch ·       Optional: Gaiters (especially if there has been a lot of rain) ·       Optional: Walking poles (I find these help on the hills!)   Other Information These walks will not be a race to be accessible to as many people as possible, that said I will be conscious of finishing the walk at a time which gives us opportunity to try the local ales at the end of the walk at a local pub.   RSVP and Fees If you rsvp and can no longer attend, please amend your booking or inform me on the whatsapp so others on the wait list can come.   Walks are restricted to max 20 people to ensure that we have a pleasant walk, get to know each other and walk at a pace which suits the ability of the group.   Fees are charged at a modest £4.50 per walk to cover organiser time.   Fees are strictly non-refundable unless the event is cancelled See the Events pages for the details of each walk.
