Curious Kat’s Adventure Club: hiking, travelling, day trips

Sat
📅 6 Jun 2026
📍 WC2H 7DE

![]( Curious Kat’s Adventure Club is a community of interesting and curious people who would like to explore London, England, and well, let’s think big - the world in general. :) If you would like to live your life to the fullest, have fun, make new friends and meet like-minded people this is the place for you. I would love to build up a community through which we can not only share our ideas and put them in practice but through which we can also develop our full potential, network and achieve our goals and dreams. :) How will we do it? Step by step. We will get to know each other on various adventures. Whether it's the great outdoors (hiking, walking, cycling, sightseeing, visiting places, camping, day trips, trips abroad, holidays) or unusual indoors where we can do a bit of social networking (ice bar, jazz venues, hidden gems that only few know about), dining (whether it’s fine dining or just off beaten track restaurant adventure) or something from the cultural menu which is so rich in London (theatres, galleries, cinemas) - all the ideas are welcome. I’m up for adventure and will try everything once. And I would most welcome your suggestions – if you come across something in line with the spirit of this group, please email me! The best thing about the community is that there is space for everyone as each one of you has unique ideas and all the ideas are welcome. I truly believe that everyone has something valuable they can bring to the table and everyone has some hidden talents that might need to be unlocked. What sort of events can you expect to find here? We have some hiking trips coming up – we love travelling, hiking and exploring countryside, whether it is around London or further afield. There are some weekend breaks on the horizon, travel UK and abroad, once again they will be filled with adventure – hiking, walking, kayaking… I will look into organizing some city breaks as well –

I’m leading this hike for London Social Hiking and sharing it here so my KoZa Trails crew know when I’m out on the trails in the UK. 😊 👉 Please note: all sign-ups and payments need to be done through London Social Hiking’s Meetup page here: https://www.meetup.com/londonsocialhiking/events/314033585/ ################# Explore Britain’s most stunning trails in a small group of up to 15, travelling together by private minibus to beautiful, remote locations not easily reached by public transport. We’ve created a list of FAQs to help answer your questions. ################# Ready to embark on an epic and challenging “miniature mountain range” adventure? Then join us on a day hike to the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty! We'll walk south to north, taking in all the main summits of the Malvern Ridge. This is a difficult hike with lots of ascents and descents, but all that effort will be well-rewarded by the dramatic scenery! Comparable in distance and elevation to both Snowdon and Scafell Pike, yet on much easier, non-rocky terrain, it's also excellent training if you're eyeing bigger challenges this year, or simply want to stretch your legs and breathe in some fresh air after a long week at the desk. Rising abruptly from the flat Vale of Severn to the east and the rolling hills of Herefordshire to the west, the Malvern Hills reach their highest point at Worcestershire Beacon (425 metres). Spectacular landscapes combined with a wealth of ecological, historical and geological gems make this a truly unique destination. And here's a fun fact: at around 700 million years old, the rocks that form the Malvern Hills are among the oldest in the UK! The lofty Malvern range has drawn people since prehistoric times. Its summits offered good vantage points and were ideal for defence in troubled times. Our route will pass the impressive Iron Age hill forts of British Camp and Midsummer Hill, both believed to be over 2,000 years old. We’ll also visit the intrigui

We, a non service providing group of thrill seeking hiking 'buddies', are dedicated to ascending peaks and enjoying panoramic views. We organise hikes in the hills around the country and abroad - occasionally going away on several days hiking trips. For each day's hike we generally aim to achieve at least 1000ft in total ascent and at least 15 miles distance, often this exceeds 2000ft. In the modest peaks in the south east this will mean linking several hills together which will sometimes lead to lengthier walks. On trips to the national parks we will endeavour to choose challenging walks taking in the major peaks (therefore bagging that magical 1000ft easily). If you are interested in some serious, decent paced hill and fell walking – and can sign up to our terms and conditions, sign up to our group.
