Steve is a 2025 drama film directed by Tim Mielants and written by Max Porter, based on his 2023 novella Shy. The film stars Cillian Murphy, Tracey Ullman, Jay Lycurgo, Simbi Ajikawo, and Emily Watson. The movie follows Steve, headteacher at a school for troubled boys, as he doggedly navigates a challenging day at the school while dealing with his own mental health issues. (NB. We don't watch it together. We watch it and then meet, in person, to discuss it. Like a Book Club, but with films!)

This group exists to support people who are interested in creating art in Cambridge, whether for fun or professionally. Saturday Knit Fever

We knit & crochet (or any other portable yarn craft) and socialise over coffee and cake. Please note that at the moment we are only accepting new members who are able to meet in person in Cambridge. We need to keep the group as manageable as possible (under 50 for our Meetup subscription).

The Equanimity Circle

The goal of the group is to explore ways to build a more positive mindset by reducing our negative tendencies slowly. We will do this through various methods which will primarily include brain drain using writing, positive discussions on contentment, patience, truthfulness, steadfast goodwill and how to build a more positive view of ourselves and the world. We will then engage in creative sessions including sketching and/or creative writing to get into the famous Flow State of union with our most positive selves :)
