Hello Wimbledon creatives! After a few successful collage workshops, I have decided to keep it going and I am excited to announce the next one will be on Saturday 18 April 2026 from 2 to 4 pm at Wimbledon Library. Please ask at the reception for Exhibition Room 2 to find us upon arrival. The session runs from 2 to 4 pm. Please arrive at 2 pm so we can begin together, and we will finish at 4 pm. I allow 15 minutes at the beginning for setting up and settling in, and 15 minutes at the end for cleaning and packing away, so the creative workshop time itself lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. We will dive into the art of combining magazines, newspaper pages, and coloured paper to craft unique and quirky pieces. Whether you are feeling a little lonely and want some warm company, looking for a playful and artistic date, simply want to explore your creative side, or are tired of the digital world and want real interactions, this workshop is for you. Your ticket includes: All art materials to create your masterpiece but feel free to bring your own magazines or printed materials if you like. A patient artist guiding you step by step through your artwork. Let us celebrate our love for art and create interesting artistic collages together. Please bring a bag to take your masterpiece home. We are a group of ladies 50+ looking to meet new friends in Bexley Bromley and surrounding areas. We enjoy eating out, fine dining, theatre, cinema, visiting London, walks, afternoon teas and breaks away. To join there is a membership fee of £5 From then on fees are £15 every year due in January. Members are encouraged to organise their own events if they wish to. Anyone not attending an event in 6 months or cancelling 4 times in a row will be advised and taken off the group. Social Buddies (Middx Area)

Are you looking to improve your social life and make some new friends? Then come along to Social Buddies! Social Buddies is a lively, fun, social club for the 45+ age group with many events each month, mainly in the Middx area. The group has two aims. Firstly for members to attend events, make new friends and have a great time! Secondly for members to suggest and host events if this is something you would like to do. If there's something you enjoy doing or somewhere you like to go you can be sure others will be interested too. The more events members suggest the more choice we can have on the calendar! So don't be shy let us have your ideas! We rely on all members to make the group a success! Regular events include quizzes, pub nights, meals, live music/tribute bands, comedy nights, theatre, cinema, coffee mornings, breakfast get-togethers, bingo, craft events, days out in London and walks to name a few.
