PlayOn Snooker / Pool Leagues & KO’s

Do you like playing snooker / pool? Want to meet new people to play against? If you play currently, or you used to play but haven't picked up your cue in years... these could be the leagues for you! These are fun, friendly, social and competitive leagues and knockout tournaments for players of all abilities... but you need to be familiar with the rules (and if you're rusty with them... I'm here to help). I aim to have league divisions with 6 players of a similar standard. Everyone will play each other once. For the Snooker Leagues, visit my website at the link below. You can sign up to the leagues on there, as well as find out more information, and check out existing / past / upcoming leagues. Results entry, league tables, messaging, leaderboards, stats, virtual trophies and achievements are all handled via the website! www.playonsportsnetwork.com For the Pool Leagues, I currently send Live League Tables and Fixtures via WhatsApp, so you can track your progress / stats. These will be added to the website in the near future also. A league season will last around 6 weeks. You will have 1 match per week, to be played in the League Venue, preferably with your fellow Division mates, so you can all get to know each other. But you can play your match on a date / time that suits you and your opponent. At the end of each season, there are promotions and relegations. The cost to enter a league season is £25, which is my fee for organising, and in return you will get 5 competitive matches against fellow snooker / pool players of a similar standard to you. You also need club membership, and table fees are to be split equally between both players for each match played. Join us for a day of board games at Harle House in Feltham. Suggested contribution on the day £3-£5. 100% of proceeds go to Hounslow West Mencap who have kindly provided us with the venue. Location: It’s a 5min walk from Feltham Station and there are also parking spaces on site. (Search for Harley House Day Leisure Centre on Google Maps) There will be many games available to play on the day or feel free to bring your own. However, If you are bringing games and willing to host/teach a game, please let me know either in comments/chat/DM. It helps us to organise numbers and manage how many people can attend. Most of us who join, come on our own and we decide and organise when we arrive what games we will play. If you have your own games and players organised, then just turn up. If you are looking for players to join your game, feel free to mention the game and how many players you need in the comments or event chat. We play a wide range of modern board and card games. All are welcome, please come and say hello. Most of us typically arrive between 10am and 10:30am and get straight into playing games. If you are new and will arrive later, let us know when you are coming so that we can hopefully start a new game when you arrive. There is a kitchen and tea and coffee making facilities at Harle House. We usually bring our own lunch or order and get it delivered to the venue :-)

Join our weekly Walthamstow Meetups and play some games with us! 💜Everybody Welcome: We meet up every week to play a bunch of modern board games, card games and party games in pubs. If you would like to get involved, RSVP to the event. You can bring games with you if you like, although not a requirement. 🌱Something For Everyone: Whether you're a seasoned board game veteran or just starting out, you're welcome. No previous experience necessary, we go through the rules before playing. We play a range of games, from lighter card and party games to epic strategies. 📌Where: We meet at the The Village Club in Walthamstow, which is a 10 minute walk from Walthamstow Central underground station.. When you arrive please press the buzzer to gain entry. Just say you are joining the board game group. Come say hello and the event hosts will get you settled in. The Village Club is a member's club but you can attend our board game evening without becoming a member. As the space will stay open for the use of our group the expectation is that you will buy a drink or two to cover the cost of the bar staff. If you so wish you have the option of joining the club in future for £10 a year. ⌚When: 18:30 - Arrival & Game Sign Up 19:00 - Games Begin 23:00 - Venue Closes If you arrive after games begin, you may have to wait until the next game starts. Greenwich & Blackheath Board Games and Beer Club

A group for gamers living and working around the South-East London area. We host a number of weekly events across each month at The Blackheath Newbridge Club. Weekday Evening Gaming @ The Blackheath Newbridge Club. - alternating Tuesday/Wednesday evenings (19:00 – 22:30). Saturday Afternoon Gaming @ various venues - final Saturday in the month (13:00 – 23:30). Sunday Afternoon Gaming @ Meantime Brewery (Greenwich) - 2 weekends after each Saturday event (12:00 19:00). These Meetups gives us a chance to meet & play games across an extended period, and perhaps bring out some of the more in-depth titles that may not be suited to a weekday evening. \-\-\-\-\- So what games do we tend to play? As a group, we have a vast array of board & card games. These are kindly brought along by our group members to each of our organised events. People are free to pick and choose what they prefer to play on the night or talk in advance via the message board. Our scope is quite varied in that we play, anything from the 'lighter' games/classics like 'Ticket to Ride', 'Carcassonne', 'Settlers of Catan', 'Dominion'; on to the 'heavier' end of the spectrum such as 'Battlestar Galactica', 'Dead of Winter', 'Viticulture', 'Orléans'... To fill the time, we also like to crack open a few lighter/party games such as 'Codenames', 'Love Letter', 'Sushi Go!' to name but a few. We are a friendly bunch, who recognise that with any growing hobby, there are plenty of people out there that want to take part, and are of differing levels of experience.
