Hi I am Gayle and I run a successful ladies independent travel club called Globetrotting girls. I am not a business or tour company I am just someone who loves to travel and try new and exciting experiences and set up trips so like minded ladies can join me. Everyone is responsible for themselves and book their own transport, transfers flights, tours etc. I book the hotel so we can all stay at the same place and be together as a group. This group will follow the same model but after listening to a few members I know that some people want to travel with a bit more luxury or do some more high end experiences so this group is all about that. There will be a mix of weekends away and longer trips to lots of different destinations. We will stay in high standard hotels, spa hotels, country lodges and maybe even a chateau or castle if I can find something suitable. We will do some high end experiences such as dinner under the stars, helicopter rides, hot air ballooning, spa days, sunset luxury river cruise, go to see top class theatre, have lunch at an art gallery, luxury safari etc. Also do let me know if you have any suggestions Rules around deposits Once you have booked onto a trip. I will ask for a £100 deposit for a weekend trip or £200 for a longer trip. These including any hotel balance paid nearer to the time will only be refundable if I can find a replacement so I am not out of pocket. Please don't book onto a trip if you are not happy with this term and condition. I am hoping we can share some amazing experiences as well as make lots of new friends along the way. Information taken from the LGBT Foundation website: Join us for our relaxed over 50s Saturday meetup run by our Pride in Ageing programme. You can register your attendance here. May’s session will be a Digital Cafe session about the benefits of getting online. There will also be an opportunity to swap tips and tricks on using smartphones, tablets, laptops and other digital devices, how to save money and how to stay safe. Whether you are a technology beginner or a tech expert all are welcome. Free Wi-Fi is also provided throughout the session. Unfortunately we cannot offer one-on-one troubleshooting or tech support as part of this session, but we can provide signposting to other relevant services who can help you.
