PyData Bristol is the Bristol chapter of the international PyData community. Material All the material from previous meetups can be found in this GitHub repository. Call for proposal If you would like to give a talk (from 5 minutes to 1 hour) please fill this google form with some initial details and we will contact you as soon as possible. The talk could be to present your current work, a topic that you just learned, the reason why you are attending PyData Bristol. As an example, these is a small list with the most mentioned topics from PyData Bristol community: machine learning, data visualisation, python, data science, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, deep learning, neural networks, business, to mention a few. Thanks in advance for your time! :) What is PyData? PyData provides a forum for the international community of users and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other. The global PyData network promotes discussion of best practices, new approaches, and emerging technologies for data management, processing, analytics, and visualization. PyData communities approach data science using many languages, including (but not limited to) Python, Julia, and R. Playtest Parties are a place for local video game developers to showcase what they’re working on. Not a game developer? No worries! Playtest prototype video games from local game developers, offer feedback and make an impact on the latest games in the Bristol area. This year we have two venues on alternating months - one in an office, another in a pub by the river - the locations are a 5 min walk from each other! This event is the playtest party Pub Edition, and is hosted at Totos By The River (The Landing, 125 Redcliff St, BS1 6HU) and is 18+ only. Got a game of your own? Fantastic! Drop a comment below with your game's name and bring it along to our meetup (Or post it on our [Discord]( From early prototypes to near-complete projects, we welcome games in all stages of development. If you are showing a game, please remember to bring your own hardware. Although we have a dedicated space, we will not have any monitors, mice and keyboards or PCs for you to show your games on - if you need to borrow hardware, just come and play this month and show your game at the office next month!
