Advanced - Heavy Shoe
This is a 1-hour weekly class for Advanced level dancers with 5+ years experience in heavy shoe dancing. It is ideal for dancers who... • Have been consistently Irish dancing for 4 years or previously competed at championship level. • Former professional or dance teachers who just want to do dance for fun! • Are confident with advanced heavy jig, hornpipe and treble reels rhythms • Are already confident with fast drums, heel drops, clicks, trebles and wanting to take on some more complex rhythms and choreography. • The content will be largely be drills, traditional dancing, with some show choreography each term. This term, we will be covering... • Advanced Downfall of Paris Set Dance • Job of Journeywork Molyneux Not sure if this class is for you? 🎥 This choreography should already look totally manageable: 🎥 This choreography should look a little bit more challenging but manageable full speed with some practice: 🕺 Your teacher will be Paige Turilli, former World Champion solo Irish dancer and rhythm queen! 🍻 This is a social and supportive class followed by a trip to the pub in Waterloo each week! Note: We recommend joining every week to build confidence and get the most from classes, however classes are structured so that people can drop-in and join at any point in a term.
