CYANOTYPE - ART MEETS NATURE
An early photography process Cyanotype is a light reactive technique creating images in blue or if you use natural dyes change the colour. Cyanotype is a simple yet effective technique for creating beautiful prints on fabric or paper using photo-reactive chemicals. When exposed to light, these chemicals turn the material blue, producing striking, permanent prints. On fabric, these prints can be stitched into or incorporated into patchwork.
