FOREVER YOUNG (Adults, Mixed) - Strength and Movement - Boxing Gym
The focus of this 1-hour class is resistance, using bands, and mobility work, and always finishes with fun movement and interaction. The class is designed for Seniors, but all Adults who feel they would benefit are very welcome. “We don’t stop playing because we grow old - we grow old because we stop playing” At Forever Young we focus on positive ageing and work on strength, balance, movement and co-ordination to help mitigate the risk of falling as we age. We aim to use our mind and body together - problem solving and challenging ourselves as a whole to figure things out. By keeping our brains young, we can help to keep our bodies young. What can you expect? You can expect to work on strength, balance, movement and co-ordination in a safe and friendly environment and at your own pace. About Shirley Darlington-Rowat: "I have been coaching for the last 13 years, and I enjoy creating a space and environment where people feel safe and are able to explore and push themselves. I have a holistic way of coaching, I believe movement is a lifestyle and an investment in our bodies. I would love to help you cultivate a healthy and curious relationship with training and movement."
