I am the author of several walking books covering Glasgow, Edinburgh, London and New York. These include Edinburgh's Hidden Walks, Glasgow's Hidden Walks and Secret Glasgow. I originally started the group so people could come with me as I trialled new walks for the Glasgow book. After that book was published, I decided to keep the group as it is great fun to explore new routes with people outside of publishing deadlines. If you are new to the cities or have lived here a while but fancy exploring an area less familiar to you, please come along. Most of the walks are new ones, so I never know how long they will take when doing them with a group for the first time.
