Fast lane
A lane for swimmers who are comfortable swimming at a fast and consistent pace i.e. under 30 seconds per 25 metres
Medium Lane
A lane for swimmers who can swim a complete length at a moderate pace without regular stopping i.e. under 45 seconds per 25 metres
Slow Lane
A lane for swimmers who can swim a complete length at a slow and steady pace.
