Liverpool Psychedelic Society

Join us for a soulful, deep-breath trek across the wild expanse of Bleaklow. We’re heading out on a 12-mile round trip through some of the most raw, honest terrain the Peak District has to offer.
Our destination is Higher Shelf Stones, the final resting place of the B-29 Superfortress 'Overexposed'. It’s a powerful, somber site—a place where history, metal, and the elements have melded into one. It’s a heavy reminder of our past, cradled by the silence of the moorland.

The Path Ahead
The Distance: 12 miles of pure, unrefined connection with the earth.

The Energy: It’s a challenging haul. The ground is rugged, the air is sharp, but the reward is a profound sense of perspective.

The Intention: We go to pay our respects, to witness the endurance of nature, and to share the stillness of the stones.

Note: The moor can be a fickle beast. Bring your sturdy boots, your waterproofs, and an open heart. This isn't just a walk; it’s an experience.

Travel
We will meet at Glossop Train Station Carpark. I can bring 3 people in my car. I encourage members to help each other out with lifts where possible
