Hello,
How about a gentle wander as a community through some of the most magical corners of the New Forest?
This circular walk takes us across open heathland and along peaceful woodland tracks, with the chance of seeing ponies, birdlife and, if we’re lucky, even the white deer I once saw out there.
The best part is that you do not need to be anything
other than yourself. Everyone is warmly welcome here.
A little bit about the walk
Distance: around 5 miles
Parking: FREE
Terrain: gentle heathland paths and woodland tracks
Duration: around 3 hours
Halfway stop: a peaceful 10 minute pause to rest, have a snack and take in the surroundings
This is about so much more than just a walk.
It is a chance to reconnect with nature, with other people and with yourself.
We walk at a gentle welcoming pace, so there is no rush, no pressure and no need to be anything other than exactly who you are.
It is also a chance to step away from the noise of the world for a little while. And when that happens, you can so often feel the stress start to melt away.
How to join us
You can either bring a minimum donation of £2 cash on the day or pay in advance by bank transfer to our Metro account, whatever works best for you.
This small contribution helps cover the running costs and allows us to keep offering community wellbeing events, including our free wellbeing group for 16- to 25-year-olds who are struggling.
If something comes up and you can no longer make it, please cancel at least 48 hours in advance so someone else can take your place.
No one left behind
If money is tight or you are not currently working, please just message me privately.
Everyone is welcome and we will always try to find a way that works.
This is all for the community
I am proud to be the founder of New Forest Wellbeing CIC, a not-for-profit created to support people through connection, community and nature.
I do not take a wage from this. Any proceeds after costs go back into creating more community wellbeing ev
