Oak Tree Primary MONDAY Forest School (KS2 only) @ BEING Outdoors After School Club
Welcome to your afterschool club with BEING Outdoors CIC @ Oak Tree Primary School. It's time to book for next half term. We love nothing more than to support your child in developing areas such as team-work, problem solving, resilience, confidence, self-motivation and social skills as well as encouraging them to become more aware of nature and the woodland environment as it changes over the seasons. Most of all our aim is for the children to have fun and with that will come so many learning experiences. BEING Outdoors CIC was established more than 7 years ago by three nature loving ex-teachers! We absolutely LOVE our BEING Outdoors ethos of forest school, nature enriching and child-led play all combining to build confidence, resilience, safe risk taking to develop our future nature ambassadors. Our BEING Outdoors CIC team of 10 fabulous leaders, work with schools in Derbyshire, Cheshire, Stockport, Tameside and Manchester. We want to grow but in an organic way, as we pride ourselves on modelling our nurturing and positive mind set to young people. nb: We also run parties and holiday clubs in our wooded dell in Thornsett, New Mills. Message me if you are interested! SNACKS & DRINKS: We will provide a snack and hot/cold drink each session. We can’t wait to welcome your child into our BEING Outdoors After School Club with Graham and Ms Taylor.
