Portsmouth Guitar Jam
Come and jam with us on the evening of Tuesday 14th April 2026.
Celebrate the joy of playing music together with a beer and some fun tunes. It doesn't matter what standard you are - everything we play can be played by anyone with a basic ability for chords! If you can't play guitar but you can sing (or play bass or percussion) then come along too - we always need singers!
We'll tune up, assess standards and then start playing - everyone gets to choose at least 1 song. We have been building a playlist and so far it includes things like:

If there is something you want to play then we'll have a crack at that too - we always like to try something new - and suggestions have been as diverse as Dolly Parton (Jolene) and George Michael - and all were a blast! The only warning is that if the song is particularly obscure then you may need to lead the singing too!
We will be at the Barley Mow pub in Southsea.
The more the merrier - so come along whatever your standard (I am distinctly intermediate!) - we play songs that pretty much anyone can play.
