Pottery workshop - Make a hanging flower bird bath
A relaxed, informal class, where you can spend time making and glazing your own hanging bird bath. This class is suitable for beginners as well as anyone who attended a previous workshop. I am a qualified teacher and the class takes place at Walrus Studios at Earsham Hall near Bungay.
In this workshop, we'll be making a bird bath using slab building and a template, we will then decorate using carving and add colour using underglazes. I will then fire your bird bath, give it a transparent glaze and then fire it for the second time.
All equipment and materials are supplied and you will be able to make, glaze and take home (in a couple of weeks after firing) a unique piece of pottery that you have made yourself.
Pottery is fantastic for relaxation, mindfulness and wellbeing as well as being an incredibly rewarding hobby.
