Preschool Duckling Class: Red Lodge Pool - Mon 10.00am (3 & 4Yrs) Sept-Oct 2026
In our Preschool Duckling classes children have a fun and learn through a progressive programme to build the fundamentals of swimming; floating, rotation, propulsive movement, and breath control. These valuable skills are essential to learning to swim, as well as learning water safety skills. We then develop stroke technique and abilities for swimming the 4 strokes: front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.
Swimming for under 5's, has many wonderful child development benefits. Aiding cognitive, social and emotional development, as well as fine and gross motor skills.
Early swimming supports neuro-muscular development, the development of heart, lungs, and cardiovascular strength.
We pride our specialist baby and pre-school swim school on our babies and children's happiness, early development, safety awareness and achievement. Our teachers are qualified to the highest standard in the UK and are passionate and gentle.
In these classes children can achieve Ducking 1-4 and Puffin award.
