Casual but Competitive Football We play a casual but competitive match—well organised, with goals, cones, and bibs provided. Matches run for 90–100 minutes, typically split into two halves. The focus is on good football, fairness, and a positive atmosphere. This isn’t elite-level or Footy Addicts-style football. We keep it respectful and inclusive, and avoid the over-competitive edge. The pace is moderate—you’re expected to try, but not to sprint non-stop or go in hard. Inclusive and Welcoming All genders, backgrounds, and experience levels are welcome. If you can pass, move, and play with respect, you’ll fit right in. This isn’t just a football group—it’s a community. Many of us head to The Stag’s Head near Oxford Circus after the game for a drink and a chat. Come for the game, stay for the friendships. When and Where We play every Sunday, rain or shine. Games take place in Regent’s Park, near the Espresso Bar on The Broad Walk, London NW1 4NU. The exact pitch location can vary slightly week to week, depending on space availability when we arrive with the equipment. The rough area stays the same, but we confirm the precise spot at 1PM on the day by posting it in our WhatsApp group (details below). If you’re not in the WhatsApp group, just head to the general area and look out for a group setting up goals, cones, and bibs—it’s probably us!
