Full description: To mark Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust's 'Living Waters' campaign ( which aims to improve the health of our rivers and wetlands; we'll be taking an evening stroll around Redmires and through the Trust's Wyming Brook and Fox Hagg Nature Reserves.

We'll follow Redmires Conduit to reach the reservoirs, if we're lucky we might hear the plop of a water vole, or even see one! We'll then follow Redmires Road round the reservoirs, head into the Green Flag winning Wyming Brook Nature Reserve, towards Fox Hagg Nature Reserve, and popping out at the Three Merry Lads Pub (or Sportsman Pub), hopefully in time for some food and a drink.

If you'd like to support Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust, between 22nd and 29th April your donations will be doubled through their Living Waters Appeal supporting those Water Voles that we might have seen on the walk!

Public transport or car sharing options: #51 bus goes to our meeting point on Redmires Road.

Be prepared: Please remember to dress appropriately for the time of year, with plenty of warm clothes and waterproofs, as well as food and water. Further information on what to bring can be found on our website here:

Sign-up: Sign-up for this walk opens one week before the event. If you sign up and can no longer make it, please be respectful of others and remove yourself from the event so that others can take your place. We request you do this NO LATER THAN 6pm the night b
