Wellness Express – Core & Posture A 30-minute class designed to help you build core strength, improve posture and move with greater ease and confidence. A strong core does far more than support the abdominal muscles. It helps stabilise the spine, supports good posture, improves balance and can make everyday activities such as walking, lifting, gardening, travelling and even sitting at a desk feel easier and more comfortable. Drawing inspiration from yoga, we'll use a combination of mindful movement, standing balance work and floor-based exercises to strengthen the muscles that support the core, spine and postural muscles. Optional wrist and ankle weights may be incorporated to add an extra challenge, while maintaining a focus on controlled, purposeful movement. The movements are simple, effective and suitable for all levels, with options to work at your own pace. Each class targets a different area of strength, mobility and wellbeing, including Strong Hips & Back, Foot Strength & Balance, Upper Body Strength, Meditation and more. Research consistently shows that regular strength and balance training can help improve muscle strength, mobility, posture, confidence and long-term health.
