Sessions focus on building strength, stability and mobility for life and are at a gentle pace and low intensity. We spend time on the ground (and getting up!), balancing and gaining confidence, as well as generally enjoying moving outdoors. All our classes are outdoors, whatever the weather! It's a relaxed and friendly group and we chat as we move, have fun and often go for a coffee afterwards!
The Apex activity camps at St Mary’s C.E. Primary School in Northchurch (Berkhamsted) are fun-filled and action-packed. Children will be enjoying a variety of sports games, team building challenges, battlezone and much more! The camp is for 5-12 year old’s and core activities run from 08:30 – 16:00. You are welcome to book, even if your child does not attend the school.
The Apex activity camps at Longdean Sports Centre in Hemel Hempstead are fun-filled and action-packed. Children will be enjoying a variety of sports games, team building challenges, inflatables, battlezone and much more! The camp is for 5-12 year old’s and core activities run from 08:00 – 17:00.
Don't let the kids have all the fun! ABC Adults to the XC Skatepark Hemel With private use of the park we can now offer adult lessons for first timers and those less confident. We always recommend that you provide your own skateboard and safety equipment. However, we have Skateboards, helmets, wrist guards, elbow and knee pads available if you would like to use them. We are able to provide an active learning environment for both new starters to skateboarding as well as those who have learnt the basics and want to develop their skills further. Our ABC Adults lessons have multiple coaches on hand for all to learn collaboratively and in a fun, safe environment. These lessons are capped at 16 skaters to ensure a high quality of teaching. Lessons will run Wednesdays 8:30pm-10pm
1-2-1 & Private Lessons are perfect for those looking for extra support when starting out on a skateboard. In these lessons, you will have a dedicated ABC Skateboarding Coach that will develop a lesson plan to suit you and your ability on a skateboard. These 1-2-1 & Private Lessons can also be modified to suit your ability. If you’re looking to improve your existing skills under the faithful eye of an experienced Instructor, then these lessons are ideal to help you perfect and expand your trick repertoire. In these lessons, we offer a safe space for anyone to come and learn to skateboard. We teach people from all walks of life and our specially-trained Instructors will make you feel comfortable and encouraged during every session! These sessions will last for one hour and ABC Skateboarding will work collaboratively with you to achieve your goals. There is also an option to make these a 2-2-1 lesson, so you can learn alongside a friend or family member!
