PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN TIME, COURTS AND ARENA FOR THIS SESSION ONLY. The popular Monday night badminton continues. Whilst the cost of playing badminton has gone up I will try and keep it at £5 but this will depend on the numbers that turn up to play moving forward so the charge might change during this quarter. If you cancel with less than 24hrs notice then the cost to pay will change to £8. Please note it is your responsibility to update to not attending and a message to the host does not mean you are cancelled. If the meet up is full then please do join the wait list if you want to play as the numbers attending do change and the system will then move you to attending.

8-9pm slot booked in Arena A courts 3 and 4. Please only add yourself to the list if you definitely know you can attend the date 😄 I have pre-booked and paid for the courts in advance, so please update your RSVP as soon as possible, latest updates by Wednesday noon, if you can no longer make it, so that someone else can take your place in good time. You may be asked for payment if there is a late drop out or no attendance. I will be putting them up on a weekly basis, so if you can’t make this one, you can always come to another one. Some may meet up beforehand at around 8.45pm, this gives everyone a chance to chat, especially for any newcomers. This may be at the entrance to the arena it's held at. Open to all levels, this is just for fun for those who enjoy playing badminton like myself. We can sort out transfer on the night, or cash. £4per person Please let me know if you don’t have your own racket, as someone may have a spare you can borrow or you can hire one from the spectrum. look forward to seeing you all ☺️🏸

This is a friendly, lively group for people who are interested in the Arts.  We attend many events in the Guildford & Surrey area including theatre, art exhibitions, open studio art events, music, poetry, classical and folk music etc.  We also do occasional day trips further afield. We welcome new members and fresh ideas for activities are very welcome☺️ As of 1 January 2025 the annual membership fee is £15.  New members are welcome to attend one face to face event within 3 months of joining before deciding if the group is for them and paying the fee. The membership fee is used to cover Meetup.com’s costs as it is not free to run a meet-up group,  Before you request to join please ensure you have a recognisable photo of yourself when joining so that we can look out for you at events. Requests to join that do not have a recognisable photo will be declined.
