This is a social Group for people who want to meet new friends and widen their social circle, both single people and couples welcome. You may be new to the area or your circumstances may have changed and you want to start socialising again. We currently have monthly breakfasts and meals, both ideal opportunities for new members to come along in a relaxed environment. Weekly quizzes are posted across a number of local venues long with weekly badminton at Grantham college. A number of other events are also posted throughout the year and members are encouraged to get involved and suggest events with any ideas being welcomed. Unhosted "Information Only" events are also added to let members know what else is happening locally that you may wish to attend. You can still RSVP to these and meet up with other signed up members. Grantham Socials looks forward to welcoming you and hopes you will enjoy the events on offer. Membership Policy; the group has been established for people to meet up in a safe way and establish new friendships. The group is based upon values of courtesy and consideration to all members. It is recommended that you do not give out your personal details, such as mobile numbers, to other members as a Private Messaging facility is available. Meet Up can not be held responsible if shared details are used inappropriately. All members of the group agree to treat each other courteously, refrain from discriminatory or offensive language or behaviour at group events. Refrain from threatening language or behaviour to other members of the group. Membership is £12 per year which is due annually 1 September and is a contribution towards the Meetup website subscription. For new members this is payable after attending 3 meetups and will be a based on the number of months left to September. Please note that this is not a dating/singles group and members that send inappropriate private messages to other members will be permanently removed as will any members found not to adhere to the values of the group. Please don't RSVP for an event unless you can definitely make it and update promptly if your plans change. There are a number of events that are limited numbers and have a wait list and people miss out when changes are not being made until the last minute.
