Every three weeks we visit Chiswick House to help maintain the grounds so they are safe and welcoming for everybody! Chiswick House and Gardens operates as a charity and is always open for local people to enjoy. However, the team here needs some extra help from volunteers to keep it all safe and flourishing. The jobs will be different every visit, but will involve working outside on the extensive grounds or in the beautiful kitchen garden. We will follow this with a fitness session after the task.

Chiswick allotments has asked for some help weeding around the greenhouse. This would be particularly helpful for them as some of the volunteers have mobility issues and are struggling to keep on top of the growth. This is a beautiful space for the local public to enjoy, grow healthy food and connect with nature. If you're meeting us directly at the task, please be there by 18:50 as they need to lock the gates behind us so it's a bit more difficult to let latecomers in. Thank you! We don't have anywhere to store bags but we have loos at the start point. We have a back marker so nobody is left behind and we will squeeze in a fun, optional fitness session. I'll be there to welcome you to the task, but if you have any questions don't hesitate to email me beforehand. All welcome, always!

The Turnham Green mural under the bridge outside the station is a popular piece of art which thousands of people pass every day. It was created by Abundance London, a Chiswick-based charity, who have asked us to come and give it a good wash down as it has become a bit dirty. All the equipment will be provided, they just need a bit of GoodGym muscle to help collect water, give it a good wash and wipe, and leave it sparkling for local people to enjoy again! We will follow this with a short optional fitness session on the common. Feel free to meet us directly at the task at 18:45. We have a back marker so nobody is ever left behind. There are loos and changing facilities at the start location but nowhere to store our bags. Any questions just let me know!
