Run 5.30 will be back in Nottingham in 2026! Run or walk the 5km route through the Lace Quarter of Nottingham & then along a tree lined boulevard followed by a return stretch along the canal. All at 5.30am! Reward yourself with a fresh fruit breakfast, a unique medal & the sense of achievement before enjoying the rest of your Friday. This is a fantastic event and, despite the early start, makes you feel smug and energised for the rest of the day. Last year, we even got a high five at the finish line from local legend and Paralympian, Richard Whitehead!! Come and join us as we celebrate 3 years of doing good around Nottingham! We will be meeting at the Fox and Grapes ( in Sneinton from 6.30pm and plan to stay for the quiz which starts at 8pm. Feel free to come along at any point for food, drink and/or the quiz (please arrive by 7.45 if you want to do the quiz or let us know if you're running late so we can factor you into a team). The team at the Edwards Lane Community Centre have asked for GoodGym's help once again with various tasks around the centre. We may be doing some more painting or other bits and pieces - we may even get to do some gardening outside if the weather allows!! We will meet at the Edwards Lane Community Centre ( at 6.30pm and be done by 7.30pm. There is plenty of parking available and bikes can be left safely inside. Tools will be provided, but please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and painty in case we are painting.
