Cippenham Carnival is an annual event that supports local charities. There will be stallholders, attractions, performers and food and drink stalls. The event takes place from 12pm until 5pm however there will be tasks to do to help them set up from 10.30am and to help pack up until 6pm. You don't have to stay for the whole event - anytime you can spare would be appreciated. The roles include car park marshalling, stall set up, litter picking, giving out programmes, selling raffle tickets etc. If you can spare any time to support please indicate in the comments what time slot you can do. If you have a preference for a task please indicate this too.

The carnival takes place between 11.30am and 5pm although there are jobs to be done from around 9am. Help putting up gazebos around 9am to 10am or selling raffle tickets, folding raffle tickets, giving out programmes at the gate, from 11.30 onwards. Litter picking during and after the event and helping clear up generally from 5pm to 6pm. If any volunteers can spare an hour or two that would be great. Please indicate in the comments the time slots you can do and if you have a preference for a task.

We will meet in the car park at Upton Court park and do a litter pick for 30 minutes. Then we will improve our wellbeing by doing a return walk to Datchet and grabbing a coffee/breakfast en route. A great opportunity for us to catch up in the new year 😃. This task includes a 5k walk and takes approximately 2 hours though you are very welcome to join for just the litter pick or the walk if you prefer
