Singles only walk This walk is being held in collaboration with ‘Date in the Diary’ who organise events for like-minded single people allowing them to meet doing something they love, with none of the pressure of one-to-one dating. If you happen to meet someone you’re attracted to romantically, then it’s a bonus – and a “date”! But in the meantime you can make lots of genuine friendships and connections! The walk This walk goes through one of my favourite Bluebell woods in the Chilterns, which at the end of April explode into glorious colour. This is a shorter walk, it takes in a couple of short climbs but much of the walk is through some of the best beech woodland in the Chilterns. 6 miles taking approx. 2.5 hours. The charge for the walk is £10 and due to the limit on number of places, is due when you sign up, places will be allocated to those that have paid. For all walks with Chiltern Walks the payment is due when you sign up for the walk, please post a comment stating 'paid' in the appropriate walk so I know to look for your payment. I can hold a place for you for 24 hours, if payment is not received I will assume you no longer wish to attend and transfer you off the walk so others can attend. If you cancel more than 48 hours before the scheduled start of the walk please message me and I'll provide you with a walk credit for your next walk. All cancellations less than 48 hours before the walk will forfeit the payment. Payment details are by either bank transfer: Name: David Jackson Sort code: 070116 Account number: 11883226 Or by using the bank transfer mobile app paym using my mobile number: . Please include your name in the payment reference. Please read this page for a description of the walking levels. Hey girls - excited for our next walk! It’s going to be so fun. Join us for our next girls’ hike out in the Chiltern Hills on Saturday 25th April for an afternoon of fresh air, beautiful views, and good company 💛 We’ll be doing the Coombe Hill and Chequers Court Circular, a stunning 12.9km route that usually takes around 4–5 hours, with woodland trails, farmland paths, hilltop viewpoints, and hopefully some wildlife along the way. 📍 Meeting Point: Wendover Station 🚶‍♀️ We’ll be leaving the station by 12:30pm This is all about making friends, having great conversations, and enjoying the outdoors together ✨ Food & water Make sure you’ve got lunch, snacks and plenty of water to have throughout the day. We might not have an official lunch stop. Usually girls just end up eating as we walk, and we naturally slow the pace down at different intervals. IMPORTANT Please make sure you have the trail downloaded before the day. We split into groups throughout the day. Signal can be patchy and there are lots of turns, so most of us having the route helps. I’ll link it here: Recommended train/parking For those coming from London, the 11:27am train from Marylebone gets into Wendover at 12:15pm, which should give everyone travelling by train plenty of time to arrive and gather before we head off. If you’re driving, there is a car park at/near the station, and the 12:30 departure gives you a little buffer to arrive and meet the group before we start. 🚶‍♀️ Pace & vibe You really can go at your own pace! Within the group there are people who prefer to take it slow and others who like to charge ahead. We naturally split into smaller groups and no one gets left behind. I’m personally someone who changes pace throughout the day (I’m the worst on the hills lol), so honestly there’s zero pressure. Some parts are chatty, some parts are quieter where you can just tak

The Chiltern Hills offer beautiful vistas, valleys, woodlands, villages and other delights. As a result, these walks are always scenic and often idyllic. The walks replenish, inspire and nurture wellbeing. Currently, the walks are mostly in the North of the Chilterns. I'm James, and I've been leading walks since I was a child, so you're in good hands. I'm also the author of Kissing Consciousness, a personal wellbeing book, so if you'd like to ask me about that you're more than welcome, and I may throw in a related event from time to time.
