Foraging, Food & Forest School (6-12 years)
This unique adventure blends the magic of seasonal foraging with the freedom of a traditional, child-led Forest School afternoon.
Starting with a hedgerow harvest we will explore the field edges and woodland paths to safely pick late-summer treasures and turn our freshly foraged ingredients into delicious, no-cook culinary creations.
After a morning of food preparation and a lunchtime of free play, the afternoon belongs entirely to the children. Following true Forest School principles with Forest School Leaders, Myra and Hannah, this session is completely child-led, allowing us to follow our own curiosity, build confidence, and manage risks safely. Depending on what inspires them, the afternoon could include den building, woodland crafting, imaginative play, games and exploring and connecting with nature.
