The next series of dances starting 8th July will be slow foxtrot (improvers) and social dancing (beginners). Please note: the improvers class now starts at 7.45pm prompt. Beginners are invited to join at 8.30pm Everyone is welcome and you don’t need to bring a partner as we rotate during class.
I have changed the name to weekends 30s and and over to open the group up to all .. fun and lively group for over 30s for social and fun weekend activities Lets all get together for a few drinks and then head to the lanes or walkabout or similar for some late night dancing
Our dance academy is a fun and friendly place where everyone feels like part of a family. We have a great group of kids who support each other, build confidence, and enjoy learning and dancing together in a positive, welcoming environment.
Queer Tango in Bristol. Queer Tango is the passion, tradition and joy of the Argentine Tango with the traditional gender roles removed. The Argentine Tango is a passionate and intimate dance as tango is a language established between two bodies that flow with sensuality. It is great fun and a great social experience. It is an open and inclusive space for anyone who wants to dance either role regardless of gender and orientation, simply put anyone can lead and anyone can follow. This is a group for anyone who wants to join with like minded people from the LGBTQIA+ communities and anyone else who wishes to dance the Tango without the implicit gender roles and conventions. We are running regular weekly beginners/improves lessons with a once a month absolute beginners lesson and as the community builds will be expanding to include regular social dances. For social updates and conversation it is best to follow our facebook group - but messages here will also be responded to.
