NICAS Level 4
NICAS® (National Indoor Climbing Award Schemes) are an introduction to climbing and provide a gateway to learning more and developing a love for the sport.
NICAS level 4 - Lead Climber
Concentrating on the skills required to lead climb proficiently. Aimed at developing a self-motivated climber who has a wide range of skills and has reached a high level of competence, with a desire to progress by identifying and setting goals.
Level 4 climbers will have already completed level 3. There is not a lower age limit for entry into level 4, but to be allowed to take part you will need to have demonstrated to your level 3 instructor that you are ready to move on to this level.
