Ready to take your skills to the next level? Our Improver Skateboard Course at The Pioneer Club, St Albans is designed for skaters who have mastered the basics and are ready to push themselves further.
To move into our Improver Lessons, we look for students to be able to do the following:
• Dropping in quarter-pipes without assistance.
• Can navigate a skatepark independently.
• Can kick-turn without help.
• Have a basic understanding of tricks such as ‘the ollie.’
• Would benefit from a more independent learning environment.
We keep class sizes small to give students the support and guidance they need. Our structured approach ensures that everyone can progress at their own pace while developing resilience, problem-solving skills, and confidence.
✅ All safety gear (helmet, pads, wrist guards) and skateboards provided if needed.
