Pre-Intermediate Ballet
Our Pre-Intermediate Ballet class begins with focused barre work and often includes centre exercises to build technique, strength, and performance skills, as well as deepen our dancers’ understanding of ballet.
Alongside traditional ballet training, we also explore elements of contemporary and lyrical styles, giving dancers a well-rounded and expressive experience. We enjoy learning group, duet, and solo dances set to a mix of classical, contemporary, and even pop music - keeping things both creative and enjoyable.
This class supports young dancers as they grow in confidence, coordination, and musicality in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Whether your dancer is progressing from a Junior class or joining AMC for the first time, this class offers a supportive space to explore movement, improve technique, and develop performance skills.
Dancers in this class are also invited to take part in our optional annual shows, festive displays, and other exciting performance opportunities.
