This course has been developed by the Safer Recruitment Consortium and is designed for professionals involved in recruiting staff within early years, childcare and play. It focuses on ensuring robust recruitment practices that help prevent unsuitable individuals from working with children or vulnerable groups.

• Prevalence of abuse and understanding the profile of abusers.
• How abusers operate within organisations.
• Key features of a safer recruitment process.
• Planning and preparing a safe recruitment process.
• Making safer decisions during interview and selection.
• Establishing and maintaining acceptable staff behaviour standards.
• Promoting an ongoing culture of vigilance and safeguarding.
This is an in-person 1-day course which our trainers are accredited to deliver.
