Usage Information: • All junior fitness users (8 to 15 year olds): o All junior fitness users and the responsible adult or parent will be required to sign a copy of the junior fitness terms and conditions within the initial start-up / induction process. o Must follow the prescribed exercises as detailed on their unique programme card issued by our fitness instructors. o All junior fitness users must book to use the fitness rooms. Bookings slots are for one-hour and must be booked in advance as limited spaces are available. Bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance, either online, in-person or over the phone at your chosen centre. o If junior fitness sessions are fully booked and junior fitness users haven’t booked to secure their space, they will be able to wait until a slot becomes available or unfortunately be unable to use the fitness areas. o If junior fitness users are unable to provide their programme card, they will unfortunately be denied access and be unable to use the fitness areas. In the event a junior fitness user has lost their programme card, we will book them in for a new fitness programme with one of our instructors the junior fitness user will be unable to use the fitness areas until they have their new programme card. o In any event where a junior fitness user is denied access or unable to use the fitness room, we will contact the parent or guardian to inform them access has been denied. The parent or guardian should either arrange for the child to be collected or consent for them to leave the centre unaccompanied. Where we are unable to make contact with the parent or guardian, the junior fitness user will be asked to stay on site until contact is made. Please ensure all emergency contact details are up to date, you can do this by contacting our centres. o Are not permitted to use the performance fitness area at Alive Lynnsport. o Cannot use the centres FastTrack (gate) entry systems and must register at reception with proof of their allocated fitness programme card (electronic copies of fitness programmes are acceptable i.e. photograph on a phone). o All junior fitness users are asked to come gym ready and where possible, please don’t use the changing and shower facilities. • 8 to 10 year olds: o Must be accompanied by a responsible adult or parent. The accompanying person can supervise a maximum of two children between the ages of 8 and 10 years and must ensure close supervision. o If the junior fitness user is unaccompanied, they will unfortunately be denied access and be unable to use the fitness areas. We will contact the parent or guardian to inform them access has been denied. The parent or guardian should either arrange for the child to be collected or consent for them to leave the centre unaccompanied. Where we are unable to make contact with the parent or guardian, the junior fitness user will be asked to stay on site until contact is made. Please ensure all emergency contact details are up to date, you can do this by contacting our centres. o If the responsible adult or parent accompanying the junior fitness user is not using the facilities, they may accompany free of charge. If the responsible adult or parent accompanying is using the facilities, then standard fees and charges will be applied. • 11 to 15 year olds: o Can use the fitness areas unsupervised at any time during our opening hours, providing they have booked their slot, have their allocated fitness programme card and are only using the machines and equipment detailed on their programme card that have been prescribed by our fitness instructors.
