XC Skatepark Advanced Skateboarding Course 🛹 Level: Advanced 👦 Ages: 7+ years ⏰ Time: 7:00–8:30 pm 📅 Day: Wednesdays For skaters who are truly passionate about skateboarding, our Advanced Skateboard Course at The XC, Hemel Hempstead is designed for those ready to push their limits, refine their skills, and continue progressing at a higher level. This session is ideal for skaters who regularly practise outside of lessons and want to keep improving—whether that’s mastering new tricks, developing flow and style, or simply enjoying skating at a more advanced level. While some students may be interested in competitions, this is not essential—just a love for skateboarding and a desire to progress. To join our Advanced Lessons, skaters should be confident with: • Dropping in and riding all areas of the park with control and consistency. • Linking tricks and lines together across different obstacles. • A solid foundation of tricks including ollies, ramps, and street/transition skills. • Skating independently and confidently in a busy skatepark environment. • A strong motivation to challenge themselves and keep progressing. Our advanced sessions focus on progression, creativity, and individual style. Coaching is tailored to each skater, helping them push their boundaries in a supportive environment—whether their goals are personal progression, filming, or competition. We keep group sizes small to ensure high-quality coaching, personalised feedback, and a positive but challenging atmosphere. ✅ All safety gear (helmet, pads, wrist guards) and skateboards provided if needed. 🏆 The XC Hemel skatepark is a large open facility with an indoor bowl and pool complex, attracting skateboarders from beginner level to Olympic-standard athletes, with Skate GB events hosted here regularly.
