Welcome to Willow's Forest School. We are a privately owned Forest School based in Surrey, and we have been enjoying the woods since 2013. We offer morning term-time classes and a variety of holiday camps, regardless of the weather. Our sessions include: Willow's Foxes: A popular 2-hour accompanied session for children aged 1–4. Willow's Cubs: A 1-hour session for children aged 1–4 (mobile younger children are also welcome). You may upgrade to a 2-hour session at any time. We have some important news to share regarding our locations. As Elm Nursery Farm changed hands last year, we will be leaving that site on July 17th, 2026. While we have decided not to replace our Woking classes after this date, we will continue to run our parent-assisted classes in Lyne, Chertsey, on Thursday mornings. You are welcome to join us for the Summer term, which closes mid July. Additionally, we are excited to announce a new site at Gordon's School in Woking for holiday camps and parties starting the last week of July. We will also continue to host holiday camps at our Lyne site. Thank you to everyone who has supported us at Elm Nursery Farm over the last 12 years. Welcome to Willow's Forest School. We will be remaining here for future toddler classes. We are a privately owned Forest School, based in various areas in Surrey and we have been running Forest School classes since 2013. We offer a variety of classes for children aged 1-14 years come rain or shine! All of our classes are run by experienced and qualified Forest School Leaders and Assistants plus the children get to go on adventures with our loveable mascot, Willow the fox! Our parent assisted classes will only run from Lyne, Chertsey from September 2026. Forest School is a child-centred inspirational learning process, that offers opportunities for holistic growth through regular sessions. It is a long-term program that supports play, exploration and supported risk taking. It develops confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting. We do not offer ad-hoc term time classes, as we support the Forest School ethos and it's amazing to see how our little forest folk progress week after week. Our 2 hour classes are the most popular and most families book once a week but some attend twice a week. These classes are for children aged 1-4 years. Baby siblings under 11 months can attend free of charge. You can start as a Willow Cub (1 hour session - accompanied), which is a great introduction into Willow's or you can go straight into being a Willow Fox (2 hour session - accompanied). If you would like to try us out, please book a taster class. Discounted sibling tickets. Once our children are 4 years and above they then jump onto our Holiday Camps, which run partially through out the year. You can book via the website. During the school holidays we offer a safe and fun outdoor experience in all weathers and all year round. This holiday camp is for children aged 4-11 years. This is an unaccompanied camp. There is something for every child to enjoy whether it be building dens, going on scavenger hunts, identifying bugs, using fire steels, making dream catchers, using hand tools, whittling sticks or singing and story reading whilst toasting marshmallows over a camp fire. The children learn about nature by making bug hotels and habitats for our wildlife including our resident fox "Willow." Forest School is child led, however we do encourage the children to step outside their comfort zone and have a go at activities available to them. Our aim is for the children to learn through having fun, build their self esteem, learn some life long skills and have wonderful childhood memories.
