Have you always wanted to try backpacking but weren't sure where to begin? Join Boots On Adventures for a two-day guided backpacking experience through the beautiful South Downs National Park. Carry everything you need for the journey, camp overnight with the group, and learn practical outdoor skills along the way. This adventure is designed for beginners and anyone wanting to gain confidence before tackling longer-distance trails.
Join us for a relaxing summer evening walk through the beautiful countryside surrounding Boughton-under-Blean. This 6-mile circular route explores a quieter corner of the Kent Downs, combining woodland trails, open countryside, and peaceful rural lanes. Starting from Boughton-under-Blean, we’ll head out past the golf course before entering the tranquil surroundings of Court Wood. The route continues through a network of woodland paths and countryside tracks towards Hickman’s Green, where open views across the Kent countryside provide a welcome contrast to the shade of the woods. This is a wonderful opportunity to unwind after a day’s work, enjoy some fresh air, and experience the changing colours and sounds of the countryside as evening approaches. Along the way, you’ll discover ancient woodland, rolling farmland, and hidden corners of the Kent landscape that many people never get to see.
Join us for a refreshing and invigorating experience! Starting at the Car park in Bishopstone Lane for a lovely walk overlooking the sea and arriving at Reculver Towers or beyond if the waether is good. Stop off for a refreshing drink at the cafe then head back to Bishopstone. Enjoy the sea air and the company of others for a walk & chatter with our wonderful volunteers. We meet 2nd Saturday each month.
Join our volunteers for a lovely stroll enjoying the Herne countryside and stopping at the halfway point for a nice refreshing drink at Canterbury Garden Centre. There are styles to cross but its a lovely walk. We meet the fourth Saturday each month.
