Nottingham Climbers

A chill bouldering session. We'll meet at Nottingham Climbing Centre - Lenton (NCC) at 7:00pm and climb until 9:00pm. 🧗🏻 All skill levels welcome, including if it’s your first time. You can take things at your own pace and do as much as you feel like. 👟 Just wear something comfortable to move around in, you can rent climbing shoes there if you don't have any. ☕️ Tea, snacks and hot food available. 💰 View the NCC Pricing Page to see their prices, you pay on the day when you get there and you can climb for as long as you like. 📋 If this is your first time at NCC (or trying bouldering even), you'll have to watch a safety video and sign a waiver. It's best to do this before hand to save time when you're there. Just go to the NCC Registration Page and watch the Bouldering Safety Video, then fill out the 18+ Unsupervised Form. It does have a few questions about harnesses, ropes and belaying for roped climbing, but don't worry you can mark no and just join us for the bouldering. If it’s your first time, one of the hosts will comment what they're wearing on the event page so that it's easier for you to find them. Also there will generally always be several more people going than it says on Meetup as we have quite a few regulars who come. See you all there!

Or have you have tried many personal development techniques, but for some reason you haven't achieved your desired objectives? I understand your feelings of frustration and disappointment. Over 10 years I have followed a simple and successful healthy active lifestyle plan. In this group you will see health and wellbeing related events, resources and information. I love music, reading, dancing and keeping fit. I support women with their health and wellness goals. Are you feeling frustrated with your health, wellness or emotional well-being? Welcome to the Nottingham Climbers meet up group! This is a casual climbing group where we meet up once a week to boulder. Anyone is welcome to join, even if you haven't climbed before. Climbing is great fun and you don't need to be in shape at all to get started. We have people coming of all abilities, sizes and fitness experience. You can take things at your own pace and do as much as you feel comfortable with. Bouldering is the easiest kind of climbing to get started with. It's short walls with lots of padding underneath, no ropes. You don't need any special equipment or clothing to do it. Just a pair of climbing shoes that you can rent there. It's also very social as between trying boulder problems you'll be standing around chatting with the people around you. It's a great way to engage in some fun movement whilst making new friends. Our bouldering spots are the Depot Climbing Centre, Nottingham Climbing Centre Basford and Nottingham Climbing Centre Lenton. We alternate through all of them week to week. Hope to see you there!
