We're here to help all levels of experience, no matter if your deep in a career or decided to 'do data science' this morning, we'd love to meet you. If you are interested in talking at PyData Cardiff (anything from 5 mins to 1 hour) please send us an email at . We'd like to welcome speakers of all abilities and experience, even if you just want to stand up and introduce yourself, your work, and what you hope to gain from PyData Cardiff, that would be great!  PyData is an educational program of NumFOCUS, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the United States. PyData provides a forum for the international community of users and developers of data analysis tools to share ideas and learn from each other. The global PyData network promotes discussion of best practices, new approaches, and emerging technologies for data management, processing, analytics, and visualization. PyData communities approach data science using many languages, including (but not limited to) Python, Julia, and R. In 2014, the first PyData meetup group in the United Kingdom was set up in London. This has become a great success, with now over 8500 members at the end of 2018. This new group has been set up to extend the PyData community into Wales. There is a fast developing tech scene in our city, and we welcome all to join us. We will be working very closely with PyData Bristol, who have also set up a PyData meetup at the start of 2018. We've teamed-up again with the good folk at Navatech to host our next Latte Lounge, a casual AI drop-in session, on Friday 22 May, between 11:00 and 14:00 at Da Coffi, Cardiff. What is it? A chance to chat with other AI enthusiasts, business owners, and workers about anything to do with AI generally, or your challenges specifically. What isn't it? There will be no formal talks or presentations, just great conversations in small groups, whenever you've got a spare half-hour. How do I take part? RSVP here, so we have a rough idea of numbers, then drop-in whenever suits you between 11:00 and 14:00 on Friday 22 May. Where is it? In the excellent Da coffee shop, One Central Square in Cardiff City centre - right next to Cardiff Central Railway Station. We'll have a space reserved by the windows for our conversations, so just turn up, buy your favourite drink and head on over to us.
