Each session is a long wave shaped by the teaching of that rhythm - time to move with it, sit inside it, find out how it lives in you. The series closes with a three-hour full wave. All five rhythms, one after the other. A chance to feel how they fit together when you've had time to know each one. You're welcome to drop into individual sessions. Welcome to Ceroc Chichester! Our group is dedicated to providing fun and social partner dancing classes for all levels. Whether you're looking to get in shape, learn a new skill, or simply meet new friends, Ceroc is the perfect way to do it all! Join us on a Tuesday evening at The Assembly Room, The Council House, (PO19 1LQ) - you don't need to book and you don't need to come with a partner. Beginners are welcome every week! Ceroc fuses a range of different dance styles including Jive, Tango, Bachata and Salsa - and is danced to lots of different styles of music from across the generations. Ceroc is very accessible for all level of dance experience. We look forward to seeing you on the dance floor!

DEEP REST | 5Rhythms & Gong Sound Bath with Cacao

Move what’s stuck. Rest what’s tired. Reconnect with yourself. An evening of dance, sound, and stillness to shake off tension, settle the nervous system, and come home to your body. We’ll begin with a cacao ceremony, opening our hearts and softening the edges of the week before we move into the dance. 🔹 5Rhythms Dance – Guided by Catherine, we move through a 5Rhythms wave. No choreography or pressure—just music, movement, and the freedom to explore. This is your space to shift energy, feel more alive, and reconnect with yourself. 🔹 Gong Sound Bath – After moving, we lie down in stillness. Joe’s artisan gongs (22"–42") create deep, resonant soundscapes designed to soothe the nervous system and invite deep rest. 🔹 Closing Circle – A gentle space to land, integrate, and reflect (or not). Share if you wish. Be silent if you need. Whether you’re new to movement or sound healing, you’re welcome exactly as you are. Step out of your head, into your body, and back into yourself.

Friday 5Rhythms

A monthly movement practice You’ve made it through the week.
Friday nights are where we slow down, land in the body, and move through a guided 5Rhythms wave - a practice designed to ground you, open you, and bring you back to yourself. This is a once-a-month barefoot movement space shaped by intention, breath, and the five rhythms: Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, Stillness. Each one invites something different - softening, clarity, release, joy, rest. We begin gently, taking time to arrive and feel what’s present. 
From there, I offer simple guidance and occasional invitations to help you follow your own rhythm, meet your energy honestly, and explore the full emotional landscape the music opens. You’re welcome to dance alone, connect with others, stay small, expand, shake, rest, or move slowly … but the journey is held.
The music rises and falls with purpose, and the room moves together as a field. We close in stillness, giving your nervous system space to settle before you step back into the world. Most people leave feeling clearer, lighter, more grounded, and more themselves. Come as you are.
