Adult Skateboard Lessons at The Pioneer Club. These are suitable for both Beginner and Intermediate Adult (18+) skateboarders to learn to skateboard or improve existing basic skills. These lessons are perfect for those who have never stepped on a skateboard before. We can provide a perfect introduction to skateboarding thanks to our patient and inspirational coaches. These Adult Lessons can also be tailored to those who have already begun their skateboarding journey, but want to develop their existing skills, such as ramps and introductory tricks, such as ‘The Ollie.’ Our experienced and trained Instructors develop lesson plans to accommodate everyone within our lessons. We are able to provide an active learning environment for both new starters to skateboarding as well as those who have learnt the basics and want to develop their skills further. Our Improver Skateboard Course at Ware Skatepark is designed for skaters who have mastered the basics and are ready to push themselves further. To move into our Improver Lessons, we look for students to be able to do the following: • Dropping in quarter-pipes without assistance. • Can navigate a skatepark independently. • Can kick-turn without help. • Have a basic understanding of tricks such as ‘the ollie.’ • Would benefit from a more independent learning environment.
