Held every 2 weeks in a quiet café. We grab some cozy sofas & hot drinks, then have a natter for a couple hours. Introverted? We don't have any expectations. This is an inclusive (queer friendly!), no pressure space. Show up on time or super late, leave whenever, there's no-one here to judge ;D

The Autistic Professionals Community London

Sat
📅 22 Aug 2026
📍 EN4 0DZ · Enfield postcode area

The Autistic Professionals Community (or APSOC) is a peer-led social group with events built to encourage community and social opportunities for low support needs autistic adults who are based in London and working professionally. 🟠 This group is for forward-thinking, warm individuals who want to connect with like-minded peers, build genuine friendships, and explore shared experiences of navigating life and work as neurodivergent adults. 🔵 We meet regularly to hang out, chat about our lives, and reflect on the unique joys and challenges of adulthood on the spectrum. Alongside our conversations, we also host occasional mini socials and fun group activities throughout the year. 🟩 IMPORTANT: This space is designed specifically for those who: ● Are aged 27 or older ● Are in some form of professional work (freelance, creative, office-based, vocational- all paths are welcome!) ● Have low support needs. ● Either formally diagnosed or self-identifying as autistic ● Are comfortable socialising in small groups ● Can engage in thoughtful, respectful conversations about topics like mental health, community-building, identity, and personal growth While there are many wonderful neurodivergent communities, spaces focused specifically on late-diagnosed and low support needs autistic adults are still too few. Our group aims to fill that gap, creating a place where the nuances of this experience can be better understood, respected, and supported. 📸 Joining & Event Info To help maintain trust and safety in our community, we kindly ask that all member profiles include a clear, well-lit headshot showing your face; no masks, sunglasses, filters, or digital edits that obscure it. This helps foster transparency and uphold our safeguarding values. 📍All attendees who RSVP to events will be asked to join our WhatsApp group, where the event location will be shared 24 hours beforehand. This allows us to communicate clearly and manage attendance smoothly. If this doesn't feel like the right fit, that's totally okay. We encourage you to explore other wonderful groups that may be better suited to your needs and support your journey.

2-Step Recovery – Trafford

Trafford

Fri
📍 M41 5GN

2-Step Recovery is a simple approach to overcoming mental health challenges, addiction, trauma, and other life difficulties. The 2-Step Recovery approach is based on two simple principles: Build recovery capital – the supports, strengths, and resources that help people heal. This step can be done daily. Measure progress – tracking distress so we know whether recovery is actually happening. This is often best done weekly. This Meetup group offers a supportive space where people can learn about this approach, share experiences if they wish, and explore practical ways to strengthen their recovery. You are welcome whether you are: • working on your own recovery • supporting someone else • or interested in improving your wellbeing Meetings will include both online sessions and local meetings in Trafford, including areas such as Urmston, Stretford, Flixton, and Partington. The 2-Step Recovery model is based on decades of outcome research showing that recovery improves when people build recovery capital and regularly measure their progress. The group is organised by Gearóid Carey, author of Recovery Made Simple: Two Steps to Heal Your Life and founder of WellbeingTrackers.com, where free recovery tracking tools are available. Group Guidelines • Be respectful of others. • Confidentiality is requested, but cannot be guaranteed. So share what you feel comfortable sharing with this group. • Sharing is always optional. • This group is supportive, not judgmental. • Everyone’s recovery journey is different. Disclaimer This group provides peer support and discussion around the 2-Step Recovery approach. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or addiction treatment. If you are experiencing severe distress, please consider seeking support from a qualified professional or appropriate services.

The UK Complex Trauma, CPTSD and Codependency Support Group

Fri
📅 21 Aug 2026
📍 EC1A 9HP

We are a peer to peer support group for people who are dealing with CPTSD, Complex Trauma and Codependency struggles. We will discuss and encourage sharing of our experiences, talk about trauma bonding and how to break the narcissistic abuse cycle. Most importantly, we will share our communal experience and provide support by listening and sharing our what we've gone through so that all attendees know that they are not alone. Please read this message carefully: Before signing up to any meeting in this group, you MUST attend a First Timers Meeting event. There are NO exceptions to this. These meetings are designed to ensure community safety and if you sign up for an Established Member event without attending one, you will be removed from that event. Before you do anything else, including signing up for an Established Members group, check out our "Events" section and sign up for a First Timers Group and attend one BEFORE you sign up for an Established Member meeting. We are very strict about this rule, so please do so as we hate to remove people from meetings and have to send a PM advising someone of this rule. All meetings are run through Zoom. The links and passwords are reset every day. The links are all sent the morning of the meetings. You will receive your link through whatever email you use through Meetup. Please ensure you have your settings with Meetup set to receive emails as they will come in through that email. If you sign up for a meeting, please check you have received your link well before the meeting as we do not check our emails during meetings. It is your responsibility to check that you have received your link - if you haven't received it and it's before meeting time, simply send your organizer a PM and we will ensure you receive it. Some more general rules that will be reviewed in your First Timer's Meeting: DO NOT private message moderators/organizers unless you have a question regarding the group as a whole, or you didn't receive a link to the meeting. DO NOT message us for medical, legal, or general advice, and do not contact us to vent. We understand that times are tough and this is not an easy situation to deal with, but we are all running this group on a volunteer basis, and we do not have any medical or counseling degrees. If there is an emergency please call 911, contact your local police, hospital, or physician. There is also a domestic violence hotline (800.799.SAFE) and a suicide hotline (800-273-8255) - these are free 24 hour services. We appreciate your understanding in advance. DO NOT private message other members of the group. Again, this is an exception to the rule above, but if you see someone in a meeting you'd like to reach out to, please send the organizer of that meeting a message and we will ask that person if they consent to being contacted and will pass on your info to them. If a member tells you during a meeting to reach out to them, that is OK as they have consented already. This is for the safety of our members, which we take very seriously. We are happy you are here and hope you find this a supportive community. All of the rules are above are to ensure that you are safe and that the people you will be interacting with are validating, here for the 'right reasons', and are properly vetted. We look forward to meeting you! x Kay R., Christine, Nataliya, Sarah, Nicole N, Wajeeha, Makayla, Beth, Nicole B and Kristen

Life Voyagers: Share, Grow and Thrive Together

Thu
📍 EC1A 9HP

Life Voyagers is a safe and supportive space where people come together to better understand themselves, explore challenges, and work towards positive change. Many of us struggle with issues such as low self-esteem or feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns. This group is here to remind you that you don’t have to face those challenges alone. Together, we share, listen, and support one another with empathy and encouragement. Each week, we also set personal goals – small, achievable steps that help you stay accountable and move steadily towards the changes you want to make. These goals may involve working through self-help workbooks, exploring psychoeducational resources, or simply taking a practical step forward in your daily life. I bring a background of over 10 years’ experience working with people with disabilities and mental health needs. I hold a degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work, and I am passionate about helping people feel heard, valued, and empowered. In the group, I draw on approaches such as coaching and motivational interviewing to gently support you in making the changes you wish to see in your life. The group sessions are facilitated by somebody with both professional and personal experience of mental health, but they are not therapy or a substitute for mental health treatment. They are designed for personal development, encouragement, and accountability, not as a therapeutic or clinical intervention. Please only join if you feel it is safe for you to do so. If you are currently struggling with significant mental health difficulties, it is best to speak with your GP or therapist for the right kind of support. The goal is to keep everyone safe and supported. If you are unsure whether this group is the right fit for you, please feel free to contact me to discuss it before joining.
